Inside Germany's final days from a POW reporter
United Press war correspondent Edward W. Beattie Jr was captured while approaching an Allied advance and endured confinement across German sites including Berlin. Now freed from Luckenwald as Russians overrun the camp, he flies to Paris to brief General Eisenhower and relay his observations from inside Germany during its dying days.
