Cosmopolitan Club reviews Lindberg and family memoirs
The Cosmopolitan Club met at Mrs. Sam W. Strong home with co-hostess Mrs. R L Broach. Mrs. Strong led a program on Charles Lindbergh and Anne Morrow Lindbergh using Brendan Gill's Lindbergh Alone and Anne Morrow's The Flower and the Nettle to highlight the couple's life and era. Dessert for fourteen and one guest followed the discussion. The May meeting will be at Mrs. Jim McKenzie with Mrs. George Newbern in charge.

Tim Gunter Featured in University Recital at U of A
Tim Gunter son of Mr and Mrs Bill Gunter and a 1974 Hope High honor graduate performed in his junior horn recital last Thursday at the University of Arkansas Fine Arts Center Concert Hall. He is a member of the Symphonic and Marching Razorback Bands brass choir and the North Arkansas Symphony Orchestra where he serves as assistant conductor. He belongs to Kappa Kappa Psi Phi Mu Alpha Phi Eta Sigma and Kappa Delta Pi.

Telephoned items may be sent to the office, while club meetings parties and weddings should be mailed or delivered to P O Box 648 Hope Ark 71801. Wedding notices due within a week post ceremony and preferably earlier. Local girl pictures submitted elsewhere will not run. Pictures not returned unless a self addressed stamped envelope accompanies them, but all pictures are kept and may be picked up at the Star office.
