Man Found Shot Dies in Hospital in Arkansas County
Randolph County farmer Rodkve A, 23, was found shot at his home near Irobodetr Thursday and died at a Little Rock hospital. Coroner H. G. McNabb ruled the case a suicide in the report filed at Pocahontas. Sheriff Dod Reed said John A. Wells Jr. was found shot in the forehead with a .22 revolver after a 11 year old girl said he tried to molest her. An ambulance driver returning Wells' mother from a hospital found the wounded man. The girl said Wells jumped from behind a bush, attacked her with a rock, then she escaped.
