Inclement weather reduced attendance at Mr Hamilton’s Sunday dinner and egg hunt, but guests reported a nice time and good dinner. Two Texas Children Are Burned to Death
In Port Arthur Texas a gas stove exploded in a home early Monday burning two children aged two months and three years. They were the children of Mr and Mrs A P Brewell. The mother was washing in the back yard when the blast occurred. The fire spread rapidly and trapped her from entering. Fireman J B Slayer suffered burns to neck and hands.
