Homosexuals Plentiful in Washington
A senate appropriations subcommittee heard an estimate that 5,000 homosexuals live in Washington, three quarters of them government workers. The figure, given by an unnamed District of Columbia official, was described as an approximation. The disclosure comes as the State Department faced a demand to name those fired among 91 so called sex perverts over the last two years. Senator Bridges said these homosexuals were a logical blackmail risk and noted some have resigned as part of security concerns.
