Women Basketball Team Practices at Patmos School
A newly organized UAWB women's basketball team from Electronic Enterprises will practice tonight at 7:30 in the Patmos School Gym, led by Mrs. E.W. Van Scoy. Community events include a Hope Men's Golf Association scramble at 4:30 p.m., spaghetti supper at 7 p.m., and a White Elephant Sale to support local causes.

Spec 5 Roy Lynn Stevens and Miss Joan Caldwell wed at the grooms parents home in March. They will live in Savannah where Stevens is stationed in the U S Army. Bride wore a white crepe gown with lace sleeves and a veiled pillbox hat. Peggy Stevens was maid of honor. Best man was Ed Taylor. The couple’s wedding followed a brief Dallas trip.
