In El Dorado Arkansas the body of 34 year old Ivan Fowler was recovered from the Ouachita River at Mil- after he vanished February 26 with another man. The search and recovery were confirmed by authorities.

Eighty year old man remains missing after two men vanished during a river trip on the Ouachita. One body was recovered downstream about four miles from where 64 year old Julian Hughen’s body was found on March 14. The river was swollen by heavy rains at the time of the incident.
Searthets and a skirtave probed the river for days after a train was reported missing. Fowler's body was found as search operations continued. Fowler fired in Smackov. Hughen operated a fishing cal near Smackover.
