Henderson State set for NAIA semis with Campbell clash
Henderson State Reddies beat Illinois Wesleyan 87 73 to reach the NAIA semifinals for the second straight year. Chris Lockhart 25 and Ena Mitchell 23 paced the offense as Jack Sikma led Wesleyan with 31 points and 12 rebounds before fouling out. The Reddies, now 29 3, meet Campbell ( NC ) Friday after Texas Southern eliminated East Texas State 87 48 and Grand Valley edged Central Washington 75 71.

Sportscaster Dave Woodman says he will stop handling play by play for University of Arkansas football and basketball on KATV Channel 7. Sam Smith from Notre Dame broadcasts is set to replace him, possibly starting March 28. Woodman notes AD Frank Broyles wanted a change and that his 34 year old tenure ends after three seasons with university support.
