Mrs Lula Neil of Texarkana spent the weekend with her daughter. Mr and Mrs J L Pilkinton and children visited Arkadelphia Sunday. Mrs Joe Wilson and children of Columbus spent Saturday with her parents. W O R Fruitt is visiting home folks after weeks in Oklahoma on business. Russell Rowe visited for the weekend from CCC camp. Mrs Melson Frazier entertained dinner Sunday for her husband’s birthday. Miss Virginia Stewart and brother Edward were present. William Delany Foster Citty and Robert Levins went to DeQueen Saturday night returning Sunday except Edward who stayed longer. Mr and Mrs Crit Stuart were Saturday night visitors to Hope. Mrs Sadie O'Steen and Mrs Luther Spears Jr and baby are visiting Mr and Mrs Ebert O'Steen of Oak Grove. A house on the Quar road occupied by John Mitchell was destroyed by fire Monday afternoon. Dr T J Robinson was home for a day or two the first of the week. Miss Fannie Jane Edmore visited Henderson College friends in Arkadelphia Sunday. Rev Tray Wheeler is expected Saturday morning to preach at the local Baptist church and will stay with Dr and Mrs T J Robison while in town.
