The National Weather Service forecasts widely scattered thundershowers across Arkansas Saturday with about a 20 percent precipitation chance. Instability for the showers will be provided by a disturbance moving into the region.

Temperatures remain cooler than average with a record low noted in Fort Smith for the fifth straight night, while Little Rock also set a June 28 record. Highs reach the upper 80s to near 90, no rainfall reported statewide in the latest 24 hours.
