Dynamite Found Near Paragould Blast Slaying
Police report nine teen dynamite sticks found near the house where Mrs Edna Sexton and her son Charles Biltingly were killed in a May 7 explosion. Charles J Sexton is charged with murder and held for mental tests. Ten-year-old Nancy Sexton survived with shock. Two youths Donald Textor and Noble Anderson found dynamite while blackberrying. 17 more sticks were discovered nearby. Authorities tie the blast to an alleged earlier attempt the prior weekend as Sexton, an itinerant construction worker, reportedly bought the material in Kennett Missouri and later in nearby towns. Nancy is living with relatives in Pennsylvania.
