Mrs Joe Monroe returned home Monday from an extended visit with her niece in St Louis. Mrs Billy Bob Hearndon and Mrs Palmer of Hope called on Mrs C C Stuart Monday morning. Rev and Mrs W W Neilson of Mineral Springs visited relatives here and on Route 2 Monday. The ladies of the Baptist church gave a miscellaneous shower honoring Mrs Orvis Tate last Thursday at Mrs J R Card's home. A large number of guests attended, gifts were given, and angel food cake and ice cream served. Mrs C N Trimble returned to her El Dorado home Friday after a week’s visit with her daughter. Bettie Sue Levi is the guest.
