Washington DD FG Hardemar of Arkadelphia spent the weekend here and was accompanied home Sunday by Mrs Hin deman who spent the past week visiting her parents. Mrs Joe Monroe returned home Monday from an extended visit with her niece in St Louis. Mrs Billy Bob Hearndon and Mrs Palmer of Hope called on Mrs C C Stuart Monday morning. Rev and Mrs W W Neilson of Mineral Springs visited relatives here and on Route 2 Monday. The ladies of the Baptist church gave a miscellaneous shower honoring Mrs Orvis Tate last Thursday at Mrs J R Card's home. A large number of guests attended, gifts were given, and angel food cake and ice cream served. Mrs C N Trimble returned to her El Dorado home Friday after a week’s visit with her daughter. Bettie Sue Levi is the guest.
