Only Church to Operate in Cavern

The Rev Ly man Riley, a Church of Latter-Day Saints minister, runs Onondaga Cave at Leasburg Missouri and holds candlelit services there on Sundays and holidays. The cave, discovered by Daniel Boone and rivaling Carlsbad Cavern in size, hosts worshippers from hundreds of miles away and evokes Roman grottoes. Riley, once a youth leader and ex teacher, was ordained in 1954 and seeks immortality through service in the minds of others.
