Arkansas Air Tour Begins on Friday

Arkansas farm and home demonstration events at Hope

Visitors will see corn and vegetables adapted to Arkansas plus two farming demonstrations at 11 a.m. on minim equipment for 80 acres versus horse-drawn gear. Professors Kyle Engler and Hath K. Ramba lead the demos, with tractor servicing by local dealers and their service men. Two ladies demonstrations cover home freezers and electric irons. Welcome remarks by Mayor Lyle Brown, Chamber secretary Charles Armitage, and station chief Cecil Bittle. Dr Lippert Bilis will speak, and optional sessions run at 2:30 p.m. An overhead irrigation demonstration is offered at the station lake. The event marks the Fruit and Truck Branch Experiment Station stay days for Arkansas.
