Refugees of the Vietnam War and IRC aid efforts
The International Rescue Committee began aiding South Vietnam's refugees in 1954 after Geneva accords, expanding to 2 percent of the population. The program includes day-care centers, health care, and a Lai Thieu community project training thousands to farm and develop self sustenance for a stable future.
