Severe storms tracking across Arkansas as front moves in

Two Foreman Men Perish In Bayou Accident
State Police recovered the bodies of Elmo Williams Jr. and Roger Lee Roberts, both 30s, of Foreman, from a bayou near Foreman Arkansas. The pair were reportedly thrown into the water from a vehicle driven by Levester Young after swerving to miss a hole in a county bridge. Young escaped injury.

Lions killed after escape from Ringling circus in Little Rock
In Little Rock, police fatally shot a 600 pound escaped lion two hours after it slipped from its cage following a circus performance. Trainer Wolfgang Holzmier said the animal was dangerous, while veterinarian Dr. Jim Van Patter tried to tranquilize it. A second lion was recaptured unharmed behind the state Livestock Show and Fairgrounds.
