NLRB Cites Arkla for Unfair Labor Practices in Little Rock
The National Labor Relations Board found Arkansas Louisiana Gas Co. unfair to nine Arkla employees at a Little Rock terminal. Five workers are to be reinstated with back pay and interest, four get restored seniority, all tied to union activity between April 20 and May 14, 1962. The firm failed to prove economic reasons for layoffs, and the ruling upholds Trial Examiner Whittemore’s findings from Nov. 21, 1962.
