Ballad of Brown Michael Shines at Horace Greeley Show
In Chappaqua New York Horace Greeley High School seniors join parents teachers and professionals to stage The Ballad of Brown Michael a light musical by Jimmy Leyden and Lee Benjamin The annual production grows student participation becomes a senior year highlight with about 200 students involved and audiences filled the run. The Leyden Benjamin team writes three shows yearly and their works are produced by numerous high schools nationwide. The project inspires some students to pursue dramatic arts in college and beyond.
