State poultry festival underway in Hot Springs Arkansas
Producers and Arkansas poultry industry officials gather for the 14th annual festival in Hot Springs. Contestants vie for state titles in boilers commercial eggs and turkeys with cash prizes, plus honors for Poultry Cooking Queen and Bar-B-Que champion. Finalists include Cathy Jane Cox Amanda McAllister and Rebecca Thompson among others from Nashville Texarkana Mineral Springs and Nash ville. 4-H bar-b-que winners earn bonds and prizes as the event promotes poultry products statewide.
