Prescott youth is sentenced in Federal court
Herbert Lee Williams, 19, of Prescott Arkansas, received a two year probated sentence after pleading guilty to possession of stolen mail forging and uttering. Sylvester Flemons, 26, of Prescott, Arkansas, was found innocent by a federal jury of making a false statement to acquire a firearm and unlawfully receiving a firearm. The four men and eight women jury deliberated three hours and twenty minutes. Houston AP reported former Texas Governor John Connally calling jurors preferable to defendants after he served as a juror in municipal court and declined token pay.
