Hope visitors tour GM Arlington plant in Texas
Thirty one Hope area business leaders toured General Motors Arlington Buick Oldsmobile Pontiac assembly plant near Dallas. They viewed a multi million dollar facility producing 33 cars per hour or 84 per hour capacity with 3000 employees and 1963 payroll expected to rise by five million. Plant spans 30 acres under roof and is fully air conditioned.
