Betsy Ruth Coleman marries Donal Ray Smith in a candlelight ceremony at the Little Chapel in the Woods Denton on June 6. Elberty Hill Home Demonstration Club Meets At Hicks Home

Ship Ijobenhayn Sinks Off Jutland After Mine Strike

Copenhagen reports Danish navy divers estimate about 150 bodies remain missing after the coastal steamer Ijobenhayn hit a mine and sank within a minute off the Jutland coast. Divers found many victims in submerged cabins and the engine room as the mine blew a 30 yard square hole in the bow and water rushed in.
