Hope School District Offers Adult High Equivalency Courses
The Hope School district has run programs for adults to earn a high school equivalency or eighth grade certificate. Over 312 adults are represented in the adult basic education classes, with about fifty enrolled this year. Completing the course, participants received an eighth grade certificate. Names of graduates include Daisy Muldrow Callie Boatner Nancy Cheatham Electa Brown Welsie Muldrow Alice Hendrix F C Clark Margie Pickens and Bertie Lee Mauldin. Instructors are Henry Hale Geneva Austin and Will Rutherford. Classes are open to all adults and can be organized in any district school with enough demand.
