Flight with 18 wounded soldiers ends farewell at plane
A band of hillbilly assassins crowd around a plane as 18 sick and wounded soldiers exit and hobble toward it. The 18th man refuses to die in battle, saying he wants to go out on his feet. The Chindits wave as the plane taxies, the pilot and copilot pale, and the story ends with suspense about the mission.
