Miss Willie Parkins returned from Little Rock and will vacation with her parents. Mr and Mrs W J Parkins Col Walker of Bingen was in town.
Arkadelphia Ark Friday afternoon two men were seriously hurt when their car overturned after going off the embankment on Highway 67 five miles south of Arkadelphia. R F Sanborn of Cleveland Ohio suffered head bruises and severe chest injuries while W J Reed Bainmblutt of Virginia sustained a painful wound and internal injuries. The men said they were representatives of the Cameron Lumber Company of Waco Texas.
Robbers seized a funeral train near Faurei Romania as it carried Wad Bey the Turkish ambassador to Poland from Warsaw. They overpowered guards and stole about 10000 dollars in jewelry from the casket before dumping the body and fleeing. Police suspect an international gang, with prayers ordered in mosques for punishments.
