Soldier on Leave Fatally Shot by His Wife
Mas ter Sgt. Hubert Freeman a 37 year old on furlough pending transfer to Fort Lee was fatally wounded at his El Dorado home today by his wife Mrs John Freeman who said she shot him after he tried to kill her. Freeman an army captain in World War II and later master sergeant served in Germany and at Fort Holabird and Fort Lee. The Freemans have two children a four year old son and a six year old daughter.
