Bicentennial Medallion Honors Liberty Tree and Join or Die
The first in a Bicentennial series medal depicts the Liberty Tree in Boston’s Hanover Square with a Stamp Act emblem and Benjamin Franklin’s Join or Die sketch. The design honors pivotal Revolutionary events, including the Boston Tea Party, while featuring Houdon-Duvivier’s portrait of George Washington and a panel of ARBC coins committee members.
