Volunteers gather coins from a Shenandoah cavern lake drained to remove about two million cents since 1966. A cement mixer washes the coins then they are dried and banked for charity. The muscular dystrophy fund may receive $28,000 of the over $43,000 recovered this time. Since 1954 more than $87,000 has been collected.
