4-H Club Plans and Participants at State Camp
Hempstead county 4-H members are set for the annual state club camp. Arlene Burke of DeAnn and Washington will judge clothing while Pauline Samuels and Margaret Schmitt lead food preservation judging. Home Furnishings will be judged by Bernice Salesberry Glynn Black Francis Huett and Mary Dale Hollis. Girls named for the style dress revue include Margaret Daniels Pauline Samuels and Arlene Burke. Mildred Manning of McCaskill will participate as a salist Evelyn Rhodes of McCaskill serves as a local leader. On Tuesday morning the camp will host meetings and demonstrations on Handicrafts Folk Games Personality Development First Aid and more. Eight Hempstead couples will join folk dancing and demonstrations in the Pageant. Pauline Samuels will represent the Hempstead 4-H Council in the Cundie Lighting Service. Each girl has made a green and white sport dress for camp programs. Thirty-two club boys and girls and local leaders will return home with greater knowledge of 4-H.
