Watermelon floats plans due tonight for festival
The Watermelon Festival committee pleads for immediate plans from 43 firms and individuals pledging floats or decorated cars. A long pledge list includes M System, Hope and Hempstead County Hospital, New Grand theatre, City cafe, Railway Express, Patterson’s Department Store, Hope Star, American Legion, Kiwanis, and dozens more in this Arkansas town.
