Alfair Quits Arkansas College

Batesville July 27 Arkansas college president Dr Spragins announced the resignation of Carl Allen from his post as assistant athletic coach. Allen served under Marcus Kaufman and coached football basketball and baseball before joining Lowe and Campbell of St. Louis. No successor is named. Allen, a World War Two Army Air Corps pilot and former Ouachita College and Oklahoma City University star, played pro football with the Brooklyn Dodgers for one year.
