Green Springs Ohio July 22 Pvt Rodner Young war hero who fought and died for the men he marched among will be buried today with survivors of his old infantry outfit. Services at 3 p.m. EDT by the army chaplain who spoke briefly over Young after he was killed in the Solomons July 31 1943. He destroyed a machine gun nest saving hundreds of American lives. Burial at Clyde Ohio about 10 miles northeast of here beside Gen James B McPherson and George Micks. Taps by an army bugler, end guard salute. Attending will be Gov Frank J Laushe and Frank Loesser. Youngs parents in Baltimore were here. American Legion VFW and other veterans groups present in dress uniforms. Army honor guard. A business district with 830 people halted in tribute.

Harvie Rorie, 56, condemned for the bludgeoning death of his estranged wife at her home and the arson deaths of their two children. He was executed by electric chair at Tucker Prison Farm in Arkansas after three shocks.
