A house on the Mrs. Ellen Jones estate at 903 East Division Street was destroyed by fire at 1 o clock Thursday morning. Adjacent to the Jones property Owen Atkins had slight damage as flames spread and the side of his house caught fire. No one occupied the Jones residence though it was partly furnished. The structure and contents were a total loss estimated at 3000 dollars, partly insured. The cause of the blaze is unknown.
