Hope to beautify Highway 67 through city limits
The federal government and Arkansas Highway Department will spend about 35 000 to improve the look of Highway 67 in Hope. Funds will be used to fence or enhance used car lots on West Third Street and address a deteriorating vacant house next to the area noted as a poor sight for passersby. Residents question city action on condemnation or sale to improve the corridor.
