National Guard Armory Dedication In Hempstead County
Hempstead county hosts the dedication of a new $75,000 National Guard armory on courthouse square this Friday night at 8. The 116 by 80 foot buff brick building features a pillar-free 76 by 76 foot drill hall, training rooms, offices, locker rooms, and a new 82 foot flagpole. Company A, 153d Infantry, Arkansas National Guard will occupy the state owned HQ along with a neighboring $34,000 vehicle storage building completed separately.
