Fountain of Convicts Erected at Ohio Penitentiary
In Columbus the Ohio Penitentiary opens a memorial fountain honoring 320 convicts who died in a prison fire. Designed by anonymous-named architects and built by inmates, the new Grecian fountain replaces a damaged, wind and rain stained monument.
