Memories of Masada siege tour tells of last stand
An international archeological team led by Yigael Yadin uncovered Masada remains after eleven months of excavation on the Dead Sea plateau. Priestly artifacts, sandals, scroll fragments, and pottery shards with names were found, signaling a recorded lottery among fighters before mass suicide. The findings accompany a historical review and will tour the United States after a five month stay in New York.
