A spring themed dining room event featured yellow flowers and tapers. Guests included Misa Hibbetts, Kittrell family, Hibbetts, the Garthey and Fuller families, George Cleve Jand, William Fuller, Dr and Mrs John Wyriolk, Cabe, McCarty, Carol Wheeler and John Clyde Hill among attendees from Texarkana and Little Rock.
Bloomington reports a man killed his mother and then himself in their home. Four notes on the door warned not to enter. Mrs Morthe Housel 87 died from a hammer blow and a shotgun wound. the man Luther House 1, 2 appeared to have planned the act and left a note seeking law enforcement. Coroner Dr Robert E B Lyons labeled the deaths murder suicide with mental distress cited. The bodies were found Sunday afternoon after relatives called.
