Johnson Dies After Plane Flight to San Antonio
Johnson was pronounced dead after a John son plane landed in San Antonio. Dr George McGranahan, Johnsons physician since last July, confirmed the death aboard the plane. Johnson had been sworn in as president aboard a Dallas plane on November 22 1963 following Kennedys assassination during a motorcade.

Pauline McPherson aged 68 of Hope died Monday January 22 at a local hospital. She belonged to First United Methodist Church. Survivors include sons Robert McPherson of New Jersey and Jerry McPherson of Hot Springs and two grandchildren.
