Supreme Court grants right to ask jurors about racial prejudice
In an unanimous ruling the Supreme Court held defendants may question jurors about racial prejudice but not about other forms. The decision overturned Gene Ham’s marijuana conviction from South Carolina and reversed 18 months hard time after trial judges refused racial bias inquiries. Justice Rehnquist authored the opinion.

Judge rules on suit over Senate term drawing in Arkansas
