Walter Lee McCoy, 51, of Hope, was killed about 7 30 p m Monday when he pulled onto Hwy 29 South and was struck by a tractor trailer truck driven by Jom W Kimpel of Francisville Ind McCoy was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead on arrival Trooper Wallace Martin of the State Police investigated and said no charges were filed

Eisele Nominated for U S District Judge Seat

G Thomas Eisele of Hot Springs, a Little Rock lawyer, was nominated by President Nixon to be US District Court judge for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Eisele would succeed Judge Gordon B. Young, is 41, former legal adviser to Winthrop Rockefeller, and helped restore the state constitutional convention.

School Told to End Its Dual System

District Court Judge J. Stith Henley ordered the Crawfordsville School District to end its dual system for the next school year.
