Town & Country Restaurant Opens in Hope Arkansas
The new Town and Country Restaurant at Third and Shower Streets in Hope is among Arkansas finest. Opened December 14, the formal opening is set for January 13. Built by Ben D Edwards, owned by Mrs Mary Black Johnson, operated by Town and Country Restaurant Inc with Frank McLarty as president Freeda Greenan vice president Hayes McKinney secretary treasurer. General manager is Herbert Darnall and chef Al Gideon. The project aims to spur progressive planning for Hope Hempstead County and was formed by Frank McLarty and Mrs Greenan with Mr McKinney as officers to foster industry in the city.
