Woman Rescues Children From Fire Near Jonesboro
Mrs. T. A. Greenway and her two children escaped a blaze when kerosene exploded in a stove setting a six room frame house alight. Greenway reentered through flames to reach the children, then led them to safety out a window. The mother and two children were hospitalized with burns. husband and daughter suffered minor burns. The home was destroyed about 1 1/2 miles west of Jonesboro.

Mrs. Jon Dickins a 42 year old Mississippi delta society woman faces a murder indictment by a Washington County grand jury for killing her mother Mrs Idelta Long Thompson on November 17.
