Music lessons turn pain of theory into playful learning
Violinist Madeline Carabo Cone teaches 4 to 8 year olds using a Grand Staff method laid on the floor. Children hop walk and sip juice in rhythm to learn notes time values and sequence with games and edible props. The approach adapts to other learning areas and has been taught since 1953.
