If goats resist, trained dogs may be flown in to assist. The operation, tied to a long effort by island owners Mrs. Jean Selmidlagp and Dr Carl Sehmidlapp, has drawn scrutiny since goats arrived 15 years ago for a stated purpose to clear undergrowth near the lodge.
