Fair Enough by Westbrook Pegler

He targets Shepard Stone, Lester Markel, and the International Press Institute, accusing them of promoting U.S. propaganda in Germany and backing socialist narratives with foundation money. The piece cites Dean Acheson and Alger Hiss, discusses the Times and Sulzberger, and ridicules a planned vast publicity operation abroad.

Highway Staff to Reorganize Highways Accounting
Little Rock February 2 uP A planned reorganization of Highway Department accounting and all phasing procedures will be carried out by its present staff headed by a new employee rather than a private firm. The Highway Commission decided to hire a full time employee to direct the work and gave up the idea of soliciting bids.
