Pine Bluff Switchman Killed by Freight Train
Charles Raymond Davis 22 of Pine Bluff was struck by a freight train in the Cotton Belt Railroad dump yard and died Thursday. He had worked as a switchman for 18 months, a company spokesman said.

Jet bomber tanker collision reported off Atlantic Coast
Pease Air Force Base announced a Ba7 bomber and a KCL35 tanker collided about 700 miles east of Dow Air Force Base in Maine.
