Eleven year old Stephen Morrill son of Col and Mrs Tarry Morrill at Little Rock Air Force Base recovered well after an appendicitis operation. Hemophiliac he required special plasma to clot the blood and a Navy jet delivered it from New Orleans to Memphis and then on to Little Rock by air.
