Three arrested in Little Rock on LSD and marijuana charges
In Little Rock on Tuesday three people were arrested for possession of LSD and marijuana. Mary Alexander, 21, faces LSD possession charges while Ritchie Campbell, 21, and Pamela Campbell, 20, are charged with LSD and marijuana possession. Police say the investigation began last June and intensified in December amid reports of marijuana being brought into the state. Brians noted over 100 college age residents associated with residences may have used marijuana. The Campbells posted $3,000 bonds each. Alexander released on $1,590. Marijuana possession carries up to two to five years and a $2,000 fine. LSD carries up to five years or fines. The 1967 General Assembly legalized LSD possession as illegal federally but Brians said the charges may be among the first in the state.
