Critics warn elderly buyers may see stamps become less worthwhile.

Burial services for Mrs Mary Starkey Broadwell and her eight month old daughter Tina Micole will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at South Park Funeral Home Houston. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Local arrangements were by Herndon Funeral Home. Mrs Broadwell and her child died Tuesday when a motor home driven by Charles Broadwell overturned and burned four miles south of Hope on State Highway 29. The widower and another daughter Melissa were treated and released. The Broadwell family of Missouri City was en route to Cleveland for a Copenhagen Open bowling event. Mrs Broadwell is survived by her parents Raymond and Mary Starkey of Alvin.
Sen Lloyd M. Bentsen will announce his candidacy for the 1976 Democratic nomination on February 17 in the Senate Caucus Room. The Texas Democrat, 54 next week, has long sought the presidency and is also up for re election to the Senate in 1976. Other announced candidates include Henry M Jackson Morris Udall Jimmy Carter and Fred Harris.
The next rehearsal for the offstage chorus will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church. Adults and teens who wish to join are urged to attend this rehearsal.
